"Though Karin and I were connected through a previous web marketing organization in the past, I didn't know her story or journey of sexual abuse until recently.From my recollection, Karin was always eager with excitement to learn the cutting-edge strategies as presented at the same conferences I was speaking at. We hit it off and kept in touch over the years.
When I reconnected with her, it was like we didn't skip a beat.
Karin shared a bit of her story with me, and was trusting to let me read her manuscript of a book she's writing about her story and journey to shed light on the topic of domestic violence and sexual abuse, a topic that definitely needs more awareness and press.
Shocked, appalled and sickened were emotions that flooded my mind and body as I read her manuscript - it's saddening to know many more are affected by this dilemma but feel they don't have a voice in the matter.
